A Thank You Letter To Korn

Posted October 21, 2016 by Josh Drespling in Empire Extreme News Feed

To Jonathan, Head, Fieldy, Munky, and Ray, and everyone on your team who put together “The Serenity of Suffering”:

I have waited years for this album. Of course, I have thoroughly enjoyed everything your band has put out over the last few years but “The Serenity of Suffering” is Korn in it’s purest form — the band that has inspired so many younger bands like Bring Me The Horizon, A Day To Remember, and countless others.

Hearing this album for the first time and trying to review it left me without words to express how good it really is… so instead I merely wanted to say thank you for this music. Trust me (and millions of other Korn fans) when I say that you just released another timeless Korn album.

Much like “Issues” was for me, “The Serenity of Suffering” will be a cornerstone album for kids who will look back on special moments they had in their life with this album acting as the soundtrack. So on behalf of Korn fans everywhere who have been waiting for THIS album, I just want to say…

Thank you.
