20 Years of Pure Hardcore

Jamey Jasta and crew came into Baltimore once again, to not only convey a positive message, but also to tear some shit up.

Hatebreed is on tour promoting 20 years since they released the debut album “Satisfaction is the death of desire” and “Perseverance” Which came out in 2012. Both these albums are the definition of Hardcore. While the debut album was amazing I would say that Hatebreed got the big break after “Perseverance”.

Hatebreed threw in a few other songs from the catalog, but. Mostly stuck to those 2 albums. Which for me was amazing because I remembering seeing Hatebreed back in the day with bands like BioHazard, Sworn Enemy, and just killed it then and is still killing it now.

We also were given an amazing treat for the holidays. Guitarist Sean Martin came back on stage towards the end of the show to play a few songs off “Perseverance” album which he help write, it was great to see him back on stage with Hatebreed.

Hatebreed is one of those bands that for years ago and years to come have always been right in the middle of the conversation. They play and say what is on everyone’s mind with no looking back. I still enjoy them as much as I did back in the day (although nowadays I stay out of the pit. For I’m not a young and limber as I was back then)

I hope that the Hatebreed camp can be going on strong for more years and help other bands make it to where they are at, just like the bands that helped them out all those years ago.
