LAST IN LINE Release ‘Already Dead’ Lyric Video
October 20th, 2016

Last In Line, the group featuring founding Dio members Vivian Campbell (Def Leppard, guitars), Jimmy Bain (ex-Rainbow, bass), and Vinny Appice (ex-Black Sabbath, drums) – as well as vocalist Andrew Freeman, who previously fronted Hurricane and Lynch Mob – issued debut full-length studio album Heavy Crown on February 19th, 2016 through Frontiers Music Srl.

An official lyric video for the track ‘Already Dead’ has been released and can be viewed below.

Heavy Crown was recorded at a Southern California studio with producer Jeff Pilson (bass, Foreigner / ex-Dio / ex-Dokken). Last In Line had initially recorded ten compositions, but returned to the studio to record several more tracks. Albeit having recorded ten, the ensemble’s contract stipulated more songs had to be submitted.

The track listing is as follows;

01. ‘Devil In Me’
02. ‘Martyr’
03. ‘Starmaker’
04. ‘Burn This House Down’
05. ‘I Am Revolution’
06. ‘Blame It On Me’
07. ‘In Flames’ (bonus track, deluxe edition)
08. ‘Already Dead’
09. ‘Curse The Day’
10. ‘Orange Glow’
11. ‘Heavy Crown’
12. ‘The Sickness’

Directed by Thomas McNeely, music videos were filmed for the tracks ‘Devil In Me’ and ‘Starmaker’. In addition, an official lyric video was created for the song ‘Blame It On Me’. The music video for ‘Starmaker’ and the official lyric video for ‘Blame It On Me’ were both released to mark the passing of bassist Jimmy Bain on January 23rd at the age of 68.

Last In Line’s formation was announced on May 1st, 2012, almost two years following the passing of Dio vocalist and namesake Ronnie James Dio. Dio succumbed to stomach cancer on May 16th, 2010 at the age of 67.

Campbell appeared on the Dio band’s initial trio of full-lengths, namely Holy Diver (1983), Last In Line (1984), and Sacred Heart (1985), albums from which Last In Line exclusively perform material from.
