Tonight Baltimore got some Extreme Action from The Lords…… Of Acid

Lords of Acid was In town tonight, and with them they brought out all the freaks, geeks, and butt cheeks. I haven’t seen Lords for a few years now, and last time we had Lacey Connor on vocals. For this tour we had Mea Fisher on Vocals who had been the vocalist now for about 7 years.

Lords are a doing an album tour of “Voodoo-U” which came out in 1994. Playing the whole album and throwing in a few others hit songs along the way.

Tonight was a crazy night, it seemed like the band was having troubles with gear and sound. I know Mea was getting upset because the sound guy was not getting her vocals right, and at one point Praga Khan walked off stage and just randomly returned. He was throughout the show getting violent with his keyboards as was other keyboardist was throwing his around also.

Even though the show had some hiccups, it was a killer show. It was great to hear all the songs that I haven’t heard in forever. I hope they do a similar tour for “ Our Little Secret” album.

The show brought me back to my youth, when I first listened to Lords of Acid and started to get into the more electronic/dance side of music. “Mea Smash” as they kept saying onstage, sounded great and was a ball of high energy running around the stage, twirling all over, grabbing her whip to make everybody bow down and submit. She didn’t need any help in that category, I think every man and woman there wanted to be with her, looking all sexy in her semi revealing outfit.

Overall I loved the show. CombiChrist played before Lords of Acid and destroyed the stage like they always do. And it was great to see the Lords once again, even though the show was very less graphic as it use to be(mainly because people now are to fragile to handle the extreme) I still love that no matter what Lords of Acid bring the kink, and we as loyal servants are all to eager to be submissive.
