TEN EAST: Noisey Streams Skyline Pressure Full-Length From Investigational Desert Rock Project Featuring Members Of Yawning Man And Automatic Sam; Record Out NOW Via Small Stone – This Friday, TEN EAST, the investigational desert rock project featuring members of Yawning Man and Automatic Sam, will release the kaleidoscopic sounds of their Skyline Pressure full-length. TEN EAST was spawned during an impromptu jam session among guitarist/desert rock progenitor Gary Arce and drummer Bill Stinson of Yawning Man and bassist Erik Harbers and guitarist Pieter Holkenborg of Automatic Sam at the Mañana Mañana Fest in the Netherlands in 2014. Although the foursome had never played together before, the chemistry and fluidity were readily apparent. THOUGHT EATER/IRON JAWED GURU: Vortex 6 Split Streaming At Decibel Magazine; Album Out This Week Through Grimoire Records – Decibel Magazine is now streaming Vortex 6 – a full-length instrumental split album between Baltimore’s THOUGHT EATER and West Virginia’s IRON JAWED GURU – in its entirety, as the record is prepped for release next week through Grimoire Records. As with all Grimoire Records releases, both sides of Vortex 6 were tracked by label owner Noel Mueller in his Maryland-based home studio about a month apart from each other. MADDER MORTEM: Norwegian Avant Metallers To Release First New Full-Length In Seven Years; New Track Streaming – Dark Essence Records will release the sixth full-length studio offering from Norwegian avant metal collective, MADDER MORTEM later this month. Titled Red In Tooth And Claw, the ten-track production – their first in seven years — was recorded and produced by guitarist BP M. Kirkevaag, mastered by Peter In de Betou and comes shrouded in the artwork of Christian Ruud (Tristania, Frantic Bleep).
