Someone Called The Police On This Band, Cop Shows Up And Joins Them

A police officer in Compton, California gave a local band a story they will never forget when he showed up after receiving a call complaining about the noise. Deputy Miguel Garcia and his partner showed up to the home where a local band, Misled Youth, were practicing. The band understandably thought they would have to stop practicing or that they might be in some trouble, instead, the officer actually joined the band for an epic jam session.

The Deputy performed “The Kids Aren’t Alright” by The Offspring with the band. One of the musicians took a moment to grab some footage of the awesome moment, which was later shared by the Compton Sheriff’s Office. Here’s what they had to say about the response:

“After receiving a call for service in the area, Compton Sheriff’s Station’s Deputy Garcia and his partner heard loud music coming from a residential neighborhood in Compton. Deputy Garcia and his partner introduced themselves to the young members of this backyard band. After identifying no crime had been committed, Deputy Garcia took the time to play a few songs with the kids, displaying a more human side of law enforcement.”
