SUSPECT208 Drops ‘You Got It’ Single

SUSPECT208 has released “You Got It”, the second single with its new singer Cody Houston. The track, which can be heard below, arrives three months after the departure of Noah Weiland, the son of late STONE TEMPLE PILOTS vocalist Scott Weiland.

SUSPECT208, which includes drummer London Hudson (son of GUNS N’ ROSES guitarist Slash) and bassist Tye Trujillo (son of METALLICA bass player Robert Trujillo), announced Weiland‘s departure on January 8. At the time, SUSPECT208 confirmed that it had fired Noah, explaining that he “was not writing lyrics or lifting his weight in the band for two months before we let him go. He was heading down a dark path of drug use that got in the way of our friendship as well as the band. Lastly, there were many instances of blow-ups over very small issues we’d confront him with.” SUSPECT208‘s lineup also includes guitarist Niko Tsangaris.

In a recent interview with Australia’s Wall Of Sound, Tsangaris stated about finding Cody: “Cody was the first audition that was sent in, and we fell in love with his voice. It wasn’t until he then came to L.A. that we realized he is a super hard-working, talented, and awesome person. Musically, we connected on another level, and songs began to flow like water on the first day. We’re beyond excited to show our fans what we’ve been working on.”

Cody‘s first single with SUSPECT208, “Nicotine”, came out in January. At the time, Niko said: “We chose ‘Nicotine’ to be our first single because it’s a high-energy, raw, rock ‘n’ roll song that expresses the energy we have in a room together. We wanted to let people in on what that feels like.”

In December, SUSPECT208 released the official music video for its second single, “All Black”. A month earlier, the band issued “Long Awaited”, which racked up nearly a million views on YouTube before it was removed from the platform. That track had some people comparing SUSPECT208‘s sound to that of the early 2000s supergroup VELVET REVOLVER, which featured both Slash and Scott Weiland.

Tye had previously performed live with KORN and SUICIDAL TENDENCIES, while London is also a drummer in his other band CLASSLESS ACT, which opened for Slash on a 2018 tour. Tsangaris also plays in CLASSLESS ACT.

When he was just 12 years old, Tye Trujillo filled in for bassist Reginald “Fieldy” Arvizu for KORN‘s South American tour after Fieldy was unable to make the shows due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Fozzy comes back to Baltimore and brings the rock, the roll and David Arquette.

Chris Jericho and Fozzy always bring a great show with them , this time they had The Nocturnal Affair and Seventh Day Slumber along for the ride .

The Nocturnal Affair is a fun band to watch. A little mix of Dark Goth Rock and alternative industrial is how to explain them. Singer Brendan Shane is a great frontman and knows how to rock out the crowd.

This was my first time seeing Seventh Day Slumber and they didn’t disappoint. The band puts on a great show and singer Joseph Rojas is not only an amazing singer but just an all around great guy. The band has been around since the late 90s and still just puts on an amazing show.

Fozzy was next and the crowd was chanting “Fozzy,Fozzy” all night long. Part rock n roll crowd part wrestling crowd, the fans were ready for experience the “Walls of Jericho”. This band is always fun. The whole band just rocks the whole stage and you can tell that they are having fun. Jericho is a natural born entertainer and just oozes charisma all over the stage.

Billy Grey and Rich Ward are a hoot to watch. Both have so much energy and are bouncing all over the stage , rich even gives PJ a few smooches now and then, and when they rock that guitar solos it’s insane. I love watching the crowd and the little kids who are at the show just enjoying watching  “The Ayatollah of Rock ’N’ Rolla”, with songs like “Drinking with Jesus” and “Judas” the fans go insane.

As I mentioned in the opening statement, as we were leaving the venue after the show, the former WCW Heavyweight Champion David Arquette was coming into the venue to talk to Jericho. David was in town for monstermania horror con weekend and stopped in get a glimpse of Fozzy.
