Train/Goo Goo Dolls Pittsburgh Show Review
Summer seems to be flying by, so quickly that it’s almost to it’s ending. With winding down one of the biggest times of the year for concerts, they sure save some of the best for last, including Train and The Goo Goo Dolls. This happy-go-lucky duo certainly brought nothing but good vibes to their audience at Keybank Pavilion in Pittsburgh, with their high energy performances, and a number that sent phones flying.
The Goo Goo Dolls have been touching the hearts of fans all around the world since 1986, and they certainly didn’t disappoint the Pittsburgh crowd in the slightest.Opening their show up with “Stay With You”, the trio certainly started off their set with a bang. Other songs included songs off a wide stretch of their albums, popular hits “Black Balloon, “Slide”, and of course, the infamous hit, “Iris”. The band closed the show with “Broadway” off their Dizzy Up The Girl album. The band also performed the title track off of their upcoming album, Miracle Pill, which drops September 13th. To hold you over, be sure to check out one of the three singles released so far, and be prepared for a comeback to remember.
Train takes the stage next, and one could maybe look at their opening number, “Calling All Angels”, as a blessing over the set itself. What truly kicked off the setlist was the second number, “50 Ways To Say Goodbye”, in which they surprised the audience with Confetti to truly start off their portion of the show on a highnote. Being a native from Erie, Pa, it’s no wonder that lead singer Patrick Monahan took a softspot to the Pittsburgh fans by taking selfies with their phones a they threw them up onto the stage during his third song, “If It’s Love”. Another note I would like to highlight about the show was the amount of covers the band did throughout the night, six of them to be exact, including “Empire State of Mind” (Jay-Z cover), “American Girl” (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers cover), “Free Fallin” (Tom Petty cover), “Under Pressure” (Queen cover), “Heartbreaker” (Led Zepplin cover), and “Sweet Emotion” (Aerosmith cover). The evening came to a close with one of their most popular hits “Drops of Jupiter”, as Train put their stamp on the end of the Summer, leaving a warm tingly feeling in all the fans hearts, until they come to town again.

Fozzy Saves the World 2023: Baltimore Show Review
Fozzy comes back to Baltimore and brings the rock, the roll and David Arquette.
Chris Jericho and Fozzy always bring a great show with them , this time they had The Nocturnal Affair and Seventh Day Slumber along for the ride .
The Nocturnal Affair is a fun band to watch. A little mix of Dark Goth Rock and alternative industrial is how to explain them. Singer Brendan Shane is a great frontman and knows how to rock out the crowd.
This was my first time seeing Seventh Day Slumber and they didn’t disappoint. The band puts on a great show and singer Joseph Rojas is not only an amazing singer but just an all around great guy. The band has been around since the late 90s and still just puts on an amazing show.
Fozzy was next and the crowd was chanting “Fozzy,Fozzy” all night long. Part rock n roll crowd part wrestling crowd, the fans were ready for experience the “Walls of Jericho”. This band is always fun. The whole band just rocks the whole stage and you can tell that they are having fun. Jericho is a natural born entertainer and just oozes charisma all over the stage.
Billy Grey and Rich Ward are a hoot to watch. Both have so much energy and are bouncing all over the stage , rich even gives PJ a few smooches now and then, and when they rock that guitar solos it’s insane. I love watching the crowd and the little kids who are at the show just enjoying watching “The Ayatollah of Rock ’N’ Rolla”, with songs like “Drinking with Jesus” and “Judas” the fans go insane.
As I mentioned in the opening statement, as we were leaving the venue after the show, the former WCW Heavyweight Champion David Arquette was coming into the venue to talk to Jericho. David was in town for monstermania horror con weekend and stopped in get a glimpse of Fozzy.
