Arch Enemy Baltimore Show Review

Arch Enemy brought the Tricks and the Treats to Baltimore on Halloween.

Tonight on this day of Samhain, the people of Baltimore congregated to have their faces melted with pure metal.

Arch Enemy came right out the gate, tore some shit up and never stopped till they left the stage. Vocalist Alissa White-Gluz destroyed the stage not only with her chaotic vocals but also with a stage presence that never stops entertaining.

Guitarist Jeff Loomis and Micheal Amott shredded our face down to the bone. Just crazy fast and precise guitar playing.

Arch played for about a little over and hour set. Playing songs old and new. Most of them were off the latest album “ Will to Power” Which was released in September. Some of the older songs that they played were “Ravenous” and “We Will Rise”, Which are one of the best songs in Arch Enemy’s catalog. I was a little sad to see that they didn’t play “Dead Eyes See No Future” Which is my favorite song, but with a 10 album career, it’s hard to play everything.

The stage set was insanely big and lights and stuff were all over the place. The biggest stage set of the night. On this tour we had openers Fit for an Autopsy and While She Sleeps. Headliners Trivium put on a good show, but couldn’t hold a candle to Arch Enemy and got blown out of the water by them, which most bands who play with Arch Enemy usually do.

Overall it was a great show and a great Halloween night. People in the crowd were dressed up for the festivities. My only complaint was that Arch Enemy should have been the headliners, but other than that was an amazing show and can’t wait to see the Arch camp once again.
