This past Tuesday, I Prevail’s Rage On The Stage tour took over Stage AE in Pittsburgh, Pa. Being that it’s I Prevail’s first headlining tour, they brought along some other pretty major name bands with them, including Escape The Fate, The Word Alive, and the other main headliner, We Came As Romans.

With just releasing their new album Cold Like War back in October, We Came As
Romans
needed a chance to share some of those brand new songs along with some other all time favorites live, and being the other headliner of The Rage on the Stage tour gave them the perfect opportunity. Opening with the title song from their newest album, “Cold LikeWar” the Detroit rock band took the stage. Along with a handful more of songs off the new album, including “Wasted Age” and “Lost in the Moment”, they also brought other songs off of past albums. A handful of the setlist came off the Tracing Back Roots album, which was released back in 2013, including the title song “ Tracing Back Roots”, “Ghosts”, “Fade Away”, and “Hope”. Continuing the trend of playing the title songs of albums, “To Plant a Seed” was included in the setlist as well, off their very first album, To Plant a Seed, which was released in 2009. Finally, to keep it somewhat of a lighthearted show, the guys pulled out their cover of The Weekend’sGlad You Came” which appeared on Punk Goes Pop Vol. 5 back in 2012. I think it’s safe to say that We Came As Romans definitely brought their part to The Rage on the Stage Tour, and I’m excited to see what they bring to their show next. You can check out We Came As Romans, which is made up of 5 members, Dave Stephens, Kyle Pavone, Joshua Moore, Lou Cotton, and Andy Glass on one of their upcoming tours, including Rock on The Range in Columbus, Ohio in May, whose lineup was just released this past week. Until then, check out their newest album, and keep it in mind for your summer minds during this cold winter season!
